Polish-American festival at St. Adalbert

PROVIDENCE — St. Adalbert Parish, 866 Atwells Ave., invites everyone to its Polish America n Festival , Saturday,June 6, from 6 p.m. - to 11 p.m., and Sunday, June 7, from 12 p.m. -6 p.m. There will be prepared traditional Polish and American foods, lots of games, raffles, Kiddieland, yard sale and exceptional live music entertainment.

Plenty of free parking space at St. Augustine’s Church, 639?Mount Pleasant Ave., in Providence, with shuttles to and from the church. For more information, call 351-9306.

Sacred Heart parish holds patronal feast

EAST PROVIDENCE ­— Sacred Heart Parish, 118 Taunton Ave. will be holding their patronal feast on June 12, 13, and 14. The schedule of events is as follows: Friday there will be food and bazaar booths open at 6 p.m.-11 p.m., and music by DJ until 11 p.m. Saturday there will be Mass with Anointing of the Sick, 10 a.m., regular vigil?mass at 5 p.m., auction at 7:30 p.m., all booths open 6 p.m.- 11 p.m., music by DJ until 11 p.m. Sunday there will be a procession of the Blessed Sacrament and the statue of the Sacred Heart following 11 a.m. Mass. Food and beverage booths will open at noon and all other booths will be open 5 p.m.- 10 p.m. There will also be a grand raffle drawing at 9:30 p.m. For more information, call 434-0326.

Knights of Columbus holds breakfast

NORTH KINGSTOWN—The Knights of Columbus, St. Francis Council No. 2011, will be holding a breakfast on Sunday, June 14, from 7:45 AM - 10:45 AM at the K of C Hall, 1265 Tower Hill Road. St. Bartholomew sponsors pasta night

PROVIDENCE ­— St. Bartholomew Parish, 297 Laurel Hill Ave., will be hosting a pasta night on Friday, June 19, at 6:30 p.m. The event, which features a full course dinner, will take place in the Parish Hall, which is located downstairs from the church. Strawberry festival at St. Joseph church

NORTH SCITUATE — A strawberry festival will be held at St. Joseph Church, 144 Danielson Pike, on Friday, June 12 from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the parish center hall. The menu will include ham, beans, potato salad, cole slaw, corn muffins, coffee, tea, punch and strawberry short cake. Tickets will be sold after all Masses the weekend of June 6-7. Knights of Columbus host hot dog and hamburger cook out

WARWICK — The Knights of Columbus, Kennedy Council, formerly of Jefferson Blvd., will sponsor a hot dog and hamburger cook out at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Blvd., on Saturday, June 6, after the 4 p.m. Mass.
