WARWICK — The women of St. Francis of Assisi Church will sponsor a spring breakfast, May 31, following the 8 a.m. Mass, at the Radisson Airport Hotel, 2081 Post Road. Pianist David Crohan in concert at St. Bernard
NORTH KINGSTOWN — David Crohan, renowned piano virtuoso, will perform a concert, “A Sentimental Journey,” at St. Bernard Church, 415 Tower Hill Road, on Sunday, June 7, at 7 p.m. Mr. Crohan, blind from birth, crosses the traditional boundaries between classical and jazz music with ease and sophistication. He has played for such distinguished people as newsman Walter Cronkite, President Clinton, James Taylor, and Billy Joel. Mr. Crohan played at Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy’s 100th birthday celebration.

The Knights of Columbus to host barbecue chicken dinner

Enders Island gears up for seventh annual golf classic to benefit recovery programs
MYSTIC, Conn. — The Seventh Annual Enders Island Golf Classic will take place Monday, June 15, at Stonington Country Club. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The annual golf classic supports Recovery programs at Enders Island. With the help and generosity of the community and benefited by proceeds from the Golf Classic specifically, six 12-step meetings weekly and 21 scheduled recovery retreats are now held on an annual basis.
