Golf tourney, auction set to aid Bread of Life
REHOBOTH — The Bread of Life Schools Consortium will host a golf tournament and auction on June 8 at the Rehoboth Country Club. Registration is at 8 a.m. and the tournament begins at 9 a.m. The fee includes a continental breakfast, lunch and use of a golf cart. There are slots available for golfers. Holy Name offers night for prayer, reflection
PROVIDENCE — The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, 99 Camp St., will host an evening of prayer and reflection, "Living Relationship with the Angels,” June 3 at 5:30 p.m. Opus Sanctorum Angelorum or "Work of the Holy Angels" is a spiritual movement of the Church, faithful to and approved by the magisterium. It is ordered to spreading the knowledge of the powerful help in the holy angels.
This evening of reflection is open for all who wish to learn more about and grow in their relationship with the holy angels, especially their own guardian angel.

May breakfast on menu at St. Alexander Church

St. Mark Church plans fun-filled day
CRANSTON — St. Mark Church will hold its first “Celebration of Family” on June 13, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the CJCR School Yard, located in Garden City. A day of many activities will be held rain or shine. There will be face painting, airbrush tattoos, sand art, and crafts .
Games of luck and skill, including the Duck Pond and Wheel of Fortune as well as a 30-foot rock climbing wall and remote race car track will be offered.
On the entertainment stage, there will be a disc jockey, the URI Step Dancers, “In The Mood” — described as the “best in big band and swing,” as well as the East Coast’s original Beach Boys tribute band, “Driftwoods.” There will be a beer and wine garden, grilled sausage and peppers, chowder and clam cakes, doughboys, and a pig roast.
