St. Pius V holds holy hour of healing
PROVIDENCE — St. Pius V Church, 55 Elmhurst Avenue, will hold a holy hour of healing, May 1, 7-8 p.m. The event will include Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, hands-on healing prayers, meditation with the Holy Spirit, and reconciliation. St. Michael's sponsors flea market, auction
PROVIDENCE — St. Michael Church. 239 Oxford Street, will be holding its annual flea market and auction May 2. The flea market will begin at 9 a.m. and the auction will start at noon. Household items, books, linens and treasures will be available for sale during the flea market. Furniture and other large household items will be auctioned immediately following the flea market. Hispanic ministry sponsors concert
PROVIDENCE — Unity Award winners Tom Kendzia, music director of Christ the King Church, Kingston and Santiago Fernandez, a noted composer from Detroit, will perform together with local composer Silvio Cuéllar, Father Gildardo Suárez and music directors from parishes with Spanish-speaking communities on April 24, 7 p.m., at St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street. NORTH PROVIDENCE — Fruit Hill Day Services, 399 Fruit Hill Avenue, offers a varied program of fun activities for the elderly that cater to the participants individual needs.
