May breakfast set at Our Lady of Loreto
EAST PROVIDENCE — The Social Ministry Committee of Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Avenue, will sponsor a May breakfast, Sunday, May 3 from 9-11:30 a.m., in the parish hall.
The menu will include scrambled eggs, home fries, beans, sausage, ham, muffins, fruit salad, juice, coffee, tea and milk. Tickets must be purchased by April 30. Money raised will benefit the committee’s outreach programs. For information or reservations, call 434-3535.
Divine Mercy Sunday at Holy Ghost Church
TIVERTON — Holy Ghost Church, 316 Judson St., will celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday, April 19. Through St. Faustina, Jesus grants the Sunday after Easter as a day to be forgiven of all sins. This is the Easter gift that the Church receives from the risen Christ.
The celebration will include Masses at 7:30 and 10:00 a.m. Latin Mass in the Ordinary Form will be celebrated at 2 p.m., followed by a Holy Hour. Yard sale benefits pregnancy center
MIDDLETOWN — Woman to Woman Support Network, Inc., a life affirming crisis pregnancy agency, will hold an indoor yard sale, April 18, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at All Saints Academy, 915 West Main Road (behind St. Lucy Church).
The sale will include jewelry, toys, housewares, gift items, baked goods, calzones and Jamaican beef patties.
Donated items in good condition may be dropped off at All Saints Academy from noon-7 p.m. on April 17.

Holy Ghost ’50 class plans spring buffet
PROVIDENCE — The Class of 1950 of Holy Ghost School, 35 Swiss St., will hold its annual spring breakfast, May 31, 10:30 a.m., at the Sheraton Airport Inn, 1850 Post Road, Warwick. The breakfast will be served buffet-style.
Graduates from other classes are welcome to attend.

Sugar Shack festival offers dinner, music
WOONSOCKET — St. Ann Arts and Cultural Center, 84 Cumberland St., will host a Sugar Shack dinner, Saturday, April 18, 6 p.m., at the center.
Doors open at 5 p.m. The dinner is co-sponsored by Le Foyer Association and the American-French Genealogical Society.
The menu will include pea soup, salad, French-Canadian shepherd pie, maple roast ham, baked beans with sliced apples, meatballs, French-Canadian potato-cheese casserole and dessert crepes.

Healing Service at St. Joseph Church

The event will begin with adoration and confession, 2:15-4:45 p.m.; recitation of the rosary, 2:30 p.m.; Divine Mercy Chaplet, 3 p.m.; Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, 4:45 p.m.; and Mass, 5 p.m.

Our Lady of Loreto plans Scripture study
EAST PROVIDENCE — Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Ave., will host a Scripture study, Wednesday, April 22, 7-8 p.m. Timothy Reid, who holds a master’s degree from Providence College, will offer a program dedicated to Amos and Hosea as part of the ongoing series.
The class will be held in the former parish school, which is next to the church. Participants should enter through the front door of the school on Carlton Street. Although there is no fee, registration is required.
